Just a comment on division 2. We have only played 17 rounds, not 18. We had a rain out. And while we did get 17 rounds in, our schedule was changing all year with some rounds added just 1-3 weeks before the date. It was a confused year, and it is interesting to note how many division 2 members are getting knocked out for inadequate rounds. Might we be allowed to run through the same week as everyone else in light of the schedule changes? Just a request on a behalf of 4 of us.

I understand your concern, however it was a strange year for most of the divisions as far as scheduling went. I am in Division 5 and we didn’t have a full schedule until about the third week, or so. The Championship criteria states that the Net Average score is calculated during the first 20 weeks of the season. The season started for Division 2 on April 3rd and must end on August 21st (the 20th week). If we were to give Division 2 an extra week of qualification what are we to do with the other divisions? The week of August 28/29 is the 20th week for the other divisions. We can’t go beyond that date. The first 2 weeks of September is needed to compile the data and recheck and triple check it, contact the qualifiers and get responses, and set-up the scoring/handicapping system.
Every division had at least 1 rainout, or in the case of D5, Crescent Farms bridge being shutdown. So we really can not give 1 division an extra week.
