SPECIAL EVENTS TOURNAMENTS SCHEDULE
Special Events Tournaments are open to all members of Metro St. Louis Seniors Golf (Divisions 1 – 5 & 9). Mixing of Division players is a great way to build fellowship. These are scheduled throughout the season, one per month April through September.
Advance registration and payment is highly recommended as tournaments are limited to 120 players. Openings and Waiting Lists are available for each tournament. Click Here

You may signup for Special Events but:
- You must have your official member registration completed and member number assigned
- If new to Metro Seniors you must have played at least 1 regular weekly outing prior to the first Special Event in April.
- Refunds will be made if you cancel at least 1 week in advance
I just signed up to Join for 2026. I chose divisions by date, not by ability. Then I saw a listing that Div 1-5 are based on scores. If that is the case, then my first choice should have been based on me averaging in the high 80s or even 90s. Do I need to amend my division choices?
Kieth – You are welcome to join any of our divisions where space is available. None of our divisions require specific scoring ranges or skill level to join. We are first a fellowship organization organized around playing competitive and friendly golf. We are a Net Score operation with all players earning a handicap (similar to USGA) based on their actual playing scores. We do organize play around 4 flights based on similar handicaps – A – 0 to about 15, B – 15 to about 25, C- 25 to about 30. D- 30 and above. Everyone earns their handicap based on actual play. Handicaps are calculated and adjusted weekly with a target of 25% of player in each of the 4 flights. This makes the competition ad fair and even across the entire organization. Each flight receives the same % of prize money. At the end of each year we monitor results to make sure competition remains fair and equal.
The most important elements for you to be successful in Metro Seniors – Be friendly, Play fair – follow the rules, Play quickly – Ready Golf (we play in ;ess than 4 1/2 hours), and play Often. Enjoy meeting other golfers. Consider volunteering – we have a great group of folks who make the league happen – more hands share the load.
That Thursday division must be an exclusive group , tried to sign up for a few years, always full??
When will the 2026 schedule be released ?

The schedule should be available by 1 March 2026.
There is a preliminary schedule loaded in Div 1.
